What's this all about, then?
Well, Twohundredpercent first opened for business in 2003, and has been through a number of changes since then. For the last few months it has been little more than a holding page, while I figured out what to do with it, but I'm hoping that, in time, I'll shift the whole of the 200percent blog over here. Not yet, though. It's not ready.
What's 200percent about?
It's a blog about football - primarily about English football, but I am always likely to go off at a tangent from time to time. The blog first attracted attention because of the music downloads (see the links above here), but now there are a few people that actually stop by to see what I have to say, for some reason.
Aren't you some sort of massive communist, or something?
Well, I am a keen supporter of supporter involvement in the running of football clubs. I would hardly describe supporters trust run clubs as "communist", but I think that, broadly speaking, clubs being run as not for profit mutual societies is better than running them as the playthings for corrupt former dictators and American plutocrats.
Who do you support?
Good question. As a child, I supported Enfield FC, but my family moved from London and settled in St Albans when I was young. I ended up watching St Albans City for the best part of twenty-five years, but moved to Brighton in April 2006. If you had to press me on which Premier League team I support, I'd say Spurs, but I'm hardly heart-broken when they lose. These days, I go and and watch St Albans (when they're playing down here), Worthing, Lewes, AFC Wimbledon - wherever my fancy takes me. It's quite liberating, really.
Do you write anywhere else?
I occasionally turn out for the excellent Pitch Invasion, but I am constrained by having a full-time job, and don't have as much time as I'd like. My email address is at the top of the page, should you wish to contact me. My other favourite sites are linked, by the way, on the links section. There are too many to list here.
Your website doesn't have any advertising on it - can I sponsor you?
Yeah, probably. I may well be a massive communist, but that doesn't stop me from being a shamelessly commercialist whore as well. Throw me a few shekels or some really good stuff, and I'll stick a honking great banner advert right across the middle of this page.
